May all caregivers simply be a loving presence.
May all caregivers be free from any attachments to results.
May all caregivers be free from hovering.
May all caregivers be free from asking lots of questions i.e.: are you hungry, are you in pain, can I get you something?
May all caregivers remember to come from their hearts and remember to leave their egos at the door.
May all caregivers breathe through their mouth during times of strong scented bodily functions.
May all caregivers abide in equanimity free from aversion.
May all caregivers remember that humor is good medicine.
May all caregivers use each moment to bless and to be blessed.
May all caregivers keep all patient information confidential.
May all caregivers remember to withhold judgments.
May all caregivers remember to explain to the patient what they are going to do first before doing the task.
May all caregivers have huge hearts for caring, large ears for listening and tiny little mouths.
May all caregivers remember to ask themselves, does this need to be said, does this need to be said by me?
